Born and raised in sunny South Florida, Jourdan spent the majority of her life dreaming of becoming a broadcast journalist.
Her passion cultivated when she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to study in the prestigious School of Media and Journalism.
After graduation, Jourdan accepted a job as a weekend sports anchor and reporter for The Delta News in Greenville, Mississippi, a CBS/ABC affiliate.
Jourdan produced and hosted her own 30-minute show on Sunday evenings in Greenville, “Overtime”, for which she cultivated a number of segments including Beyond the Game, In Case You Missed It, the Overtime Extra Point, and Jour’s Four.
Then, Jourdan served as the only sports anchor/reporter at 40/29 News, the ABC affiliate in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
